How the publication is paid for
The publisher pays for the site from its own funds. The site carries no advertising and earns nothing from the products it describes.
The publication earns nothing when a reader buys a camera, a plan or an accessory, and it does not accept products in exchange for coverage.
No payment or review by makers
No camera maker, retailer or plan provider pays for, sponsors, reviews or approves any page before or after publication. No page is written to a maker’s brief, and no maker is told in advance what will be said about it.
How subjects are chosen
Subjects are chosen by what owners most often ask about: how cameras connect and record, and how to tell a maker’s genuine pages from imitations. The five makers profiled are the ones readers ask about most. Being profiled is not an endorsement, and leaving a maker out is not a judgment of it.
Promotion of the site
The publisher may promote the site in search results. Any such advertising describes the site as an independent reference; it never presents the site as a camera maker, as connected to one, or as a source of assistance with anyone’s equipment.
Accuracy and corrections
Pages are checked against the makers’ own documentation and reviewed when products, apps or plans change. Errors reported to test@gmail.com are corrected on the page concerned, with a note of the change at its foot.
